Mia Sanchez is crowned just moments after being announced as homecoming queen for Round Rock High School.
Each year at the halftime of the Round Rock Homecoming game, the Homecoming Court is presented to the crowd before a king and queen are crowned. Last Friday, with temperatures dipping into the 40’s, the court was frozen as they awaited their turn to be introduced. With the conclusion of all 10 couples being introduced, Mia Sanchez and Mikey Hernandez were crowned king and queen in front of the Round Rock community. Cheers erupted from the student section and the parent section when the news broke.
